I don't care either. I'm sure the people who took the photos don't mind sharing. I haven't been in a position to take many of my own.
The airport is under water. The road is washed out in more than a dozen places, perhaps for months. Access to my community is now by boat only. The hydro station has been damaged, diesel generators are running short of fuel. Evacuations, people stranded, homes damaged or lost, vehicles ruined...
The lights may go out. Internet might not work in the morning.
I'm fine. How are you?
I am lucky, actually. My nieghbourhood didn't flood and seems to be in no danger. I managed to get groceries today and I am warm and fed.
What more can any of us ask?
My thoughts tonight are for those friends and co-workers of mine that have suffered financial loss. More than just financial. Home owners lose more than money in disasters.
Stay dry and warm tonight.

Holy shit. Be safe. Be well.
The photos tell it all, don't they? Glad you were left unscathed.
